Positions Tab
Provides a centralized view of your open positions. It is available as a separate module in the Web terminal, or a tab in a pair screen.
Orders Screen & API Key Switching (Mobile):
In iOS app, the Positions tab also is integrated into the main Orders screen. Tap the exchange tabs at the top to switch between API connections, updating positions, open orders, and balance simultaneously. The selected key stays active when switching between tabs. Use the visibility toggle to show or hide your balance.
Real-time PnL
Your active Profit and Loss (PnL) is visualized on the DOM screen, Order Book, Positions tab and the Chart relative to your entry price.
Market Execution
For immediate entry or exit at the best available price, use the Buy Mkt or Sell Mkt buttons located in the trading panel.
To quickly close all of your active positions at the market price, tap Flatten All.
Context Menu (Mobile): Close a position at market price by long-pressing the position information bar in the DOM, Chart or Positions tab.
Context Menu (Web): Close a position at market price by pressing the position information bar in the DOM, right-clicking its label on Chart or Positions module.
Chart Toolbar (iOS): Select a position line on the chart to reveal a bottom toolbar and close the position via the bin icon.
Visual Position Indicators
The PnL bar, located next to the order book, provides immediate visual feedback on your open positions. It includes an "L" (Long) or "S" (Short) letter indicator at your opening price level, along with an arrow pointing toward the profitable direction. If the current price moves off-screen, a floating indicator will remain at the edge of the screen, pointing toward your position's opening level.
Position Percentage Change: The PnL bar in orderbook displays the percentage change from entry price to current price. The PnL value displays only when the bar has enough vertical space.
USD Sync for Position Bar
When you switch the DOM display currency to USD, the horizontal Position Bar will synchronize to display your position values in USD as well.
